The opening will have full trim with 3 5 side casing and a 5 5 header see pic for an example of another door trimmed the same way.

To build back the opening as a cased opening we used 1 6 s ripped down to fit the opening about 4 3 4 inches wide.
The height is a bit trickier based on the casing and header.
